Invisilagn
Invisalign is an orthodontic treatment method used for aligning and correcting teeth. It is a more comfortable and aesthetic option compared to other orthodontic treatment methods. Invisalign consists of transparent, custom-designed plastic aligners that fit the individual’s teeth. These aligners work by changing the shape and position of the teeth, resulting in a more even alignment.
Invisalign follows a treatment process that includes the following steps:
1. The dentist takes a digital scan or traditional impression for the patient and, using these data, creates a custom treatment plan for the patient.
2. The treatment plan, along with a 3D animation illustrating how the teeth will move, is shared with the patient. The patient is informed about the outcomes of the treatment and provided with details regarding the duration of the treatment.
3. After the treatment plan is approved, custom-made aligners for the patient are produced. Each aligner is worn for a specific period to facilitate the movement of the teeth.
4. Aligners are typically worn for 2-3 weeks and then replaced with a new set. Throughout the treatment, the dentist conducts regular check-ups to monitor the movement of the teeth.
