E-max

E-max is a durable, aesthetic, and natural-looking ceramic material that is widely used in dental applications for procedures such as dental veneers, crowns, bridges, and inlays/onlays.

E-max ceramic is a glass-ceramic material with high strength. Therefore, it is more resistant compared to other ceramic materials, providing long-lasting dental restorations. Additionally, due to its high light translucency, it offers a natural appearance that blends well with natural teeth.

The E-max restoration process is typically a two-stage procedure. Firstly, the dentist measures the shape and size of the tooth and selects an appropriate color. Subsequently, the custom-made E-max porcelain is placed on the tooth in a dental laboratory and securely bonded.

The widespread use of E-max restoration is attributed to its numerous advantages, including a natural tooth appearance, high durability, aesthetics, resistance to breakage, and longevity. Furthermore, it is known that E-max porcelain restorations do not cause cracking or breaking of teeth, unlike traditional porcelain restorations.

However, it is important to note that each tooth is unique, and the dentist should determine the appropriate treatment method for each case. It is essential to consult with a dentist to decide whether the E-max restoration process is suitable for a specific situation.
